Urology at St. Luke's Clinic
is minimally invasive diagnostics and treatment of urological diseases according to European standards.
The vast majority of operations are performed using endoscopic (without incision) or laparoscopic equipment (through small incisions on the abdomen) and with the use of modern laser and electrosurgical equipment. This significantly reduces the duration of treatment and rehabilitation, and substantially reduces pain in the postoperative period.
Our specialists have created a Center for the treatment and metaphylaxis of urolithiasis, the purpose of which is to develop an individual complex of therapeutic and prophylactic measures aimed at preventing recurrent stone formation (disease recurrence) after stone removal.
How are we different from others?
- We have a highly specialized modern operating room for endoscopic, percutaneous, and laparoscopic surgeries. The presence of the most modern rigid and flexible endoscopes, including video endoscopes, and extensive practical experience – allow us to successfully perform highly complex interventions on the upper and lower urinary tracts.
- We do not perform “open” surgeries for urolithiasis. Using both rigid and flexible endoscopes, we remove any stones (including staghorn) percutaneously and transurethrally, using various types of contact lithotripsy (laser, pneumatic, etc.).
- Instead of “open” interventions for benign prostatic hyperplasia (adenoma), transurethral mono- and bipolar resection (TUR) of the prostate, or enucleation with a holmium laser, which we widely use and offer to patients, have come.
- For hydronephrosis and ureteral defects, the operation of choice for us is laparoscopic plasty, which we perform according to European standards.
- If nephroptosis (kidney prolapse) is detected in patients, we offer and perform laparoscopic nephropexy (with and without mesh).
- Doctors have academic degrees, higher and first medical categories, extensive practical experience and internship experience in leading European hospitals.

On the prostate gland:
- Monopolar transurethral resection (TUR), incision and vaporization of the prostate gland for its disease (adenoma, cancer, sclerosis)
- Bipolar transurethral resection (TUR), incision and vaporization of the prostate gland for its diseases (adenoma, cancer, sclerosis) for patients with pacemakers, coronary artery stents, coagulopathies, metal implants
- Enucleation of prostate adenoma (laser, mono- and bipolar)
- Incision of the prostate and bladder neck for its sclerosis
- Implantation of prostatic stents
- Transrectal multifocal fine-needle biopsy of the prostate under ultrasound guidance for the diagnosis of prostate cancer

- Laser, monopolar and bipolar transurethral resection (TUR) and vaporization of the bladder for inflammatory-proliferative diseases and bladder cancer
- Photodynamic diagnosis of bladder cancer
