Laparoscopic cystectomy is a modern organ-preserving operation aimed at removing the cyst capsule from the ovary while maximally preserving the healthy tissue of the organ. Why is it important to remove cysts in time?
Not all cysts require surgery (functional ones often disappear on their own). But there are types of formations that are not treated with pills and pose a threat:
- Endometrioid cysts (“chocolate” cysts): Destroy ovarian tissue and are a common cause of infertility.

Stages of treatment
- Preparation: Gynecologist consultation, ultrasound, package of tests.
