Performed in cases of acute purulent inflammation. The abscess is opened, thoroughly rinsed with antiseptics, after which a drain is inserted for fluid outflow.Complete removal (extirpation) of the Bartholin’s gland:
Prescribed only in extreme cases if the cyst recurs many times and other methods do not help. The gland is completely removed along with the capsule.
